Daily Meditation – The Way Things Are

Consider that God continues to shape and mold all things at each moment. Not in the general but in the specific such as our birth, parents, gifts, etc. We are created out of love meaning that God wants to share love with us and for us to do the same to others. In calling us to live out our special characteristics and gifts, God planted an original purpose in our lives. That purpose is concrete expression of God’s hopes in and for me. To fulfill that purpose is to manifest God’s power at work. In this lifeworld of ours, we live among created things that either help or hinder in the fulfillment of that purpose and accordingly, we are given freedom to choose among these things. In all things, God’s will is our peace!
